Our Story

About the American Aid Society of Paris

Since 1922, the American Aid Society of Paris has been a volunteer-run nonprofit offering practical help to Americans in France. Funded only by donations, we respond to emergencies with discretion and care. From short-term financial aid and hospital support to guidance for residents, the elderly, students, and tourists, our volunteers are here so no one has to face a crisis in France alone.

How We Help

We respond to emergencies and difficult situations with practical support. Every case is different, but our volunteers can offer temporary or emergency financial aid, help with hospitals and French administration, and referrals to trusted services. We listen with respect and do our best to provide help when it matters most.

Who We Serve

The American Aid Society of Paris assists Americans of all ages and backgrounds in France. We hear from students, tourists, the elderly, and long-term residents, as well as families abroad who are worried about loved ones here. No matter the situation, we aim to provide guidance and support with care and discretion.
